Gadjah Mada, Airlangga, Sumatra Utara and Andalas University were the first to be approved by JPA in 1975 and followed by Brawijaya university.

The degree program is a combination of 8 semesters (4 years) of theoretical study and minimum 2 semesters of Professional Phase.
